Time to Be Proud of Amazing Grace's Honor

Sunday I was all excited over my GPA. After staring at it for a while, I asked hubby, "Am I really seeing what I think I'm seeing? Do you see it too?" I didn't want to that it was real until someone else said they saw the same thing. The smile on his face as he told me how proud he is of me made me feel great.

When Amazing Grace came home, I said, "Today is a proud day for both of us." I handed her the paper and she jumped up and down from excitement. "Oh, my gosh, Mom! Congratulations!" Blondie gave me her Blondie Smile, the one she is known for, the one that takes up her entire face when she's happy. "I'm so happy for you, Mom!"

After that we had the pleasure of even more excitement. We went to the high school to celebrate Amazing Grace's academic achievement.

Amazing Grace & me

I'm so proud of Amazing Grace & all the work she's put in to achieve this high honor. I'm so happy that she is being acknowledged for all of that hard work and I know she'll continue to make me proud in so many areas, as she already does.
