Diet Time

The hubby man announced he's hired a personal trainer, going on a diet, and going to the gym. Yay him! This has made me evaluate parts of the dinners I've made this week. I've decided they're all very healthy.
The olive tortilla wraps: olives make olive oil = healthy fat, tortillas =grain, cream cheese = dairy.
Cheese beer dip: cheese = dairy, sour cream = dairy, cream cheese = dairy, garlic is healthy, beer is made from hops = grain.
Sangria: red wine is made from grapes = fruit, ginger ale = ginger is healthy, lemons & limes are fruit, Triple Sec = there's a picture of fruit on the bottle so that's another fruit.
Pizza: crust = grain, sauce = tomatoes, cheese = dairy, mushrooms =veggie, meat.
Chicken tenders: duh, it's chicken which is a lean meat.
Coleslaw: cabbage is a veggie.
French fries: potato + fried in vegetable oil = twice the veggies in each bite!

Now I'm wondering why I bother to make veggies and salads to go on the sides of these things. Seems to me we could just eat these foods and be super healthy. I think his trainer will be very proud of him when he reads his food journal. He'll get 5 stars in the healthy eating department! See, babe, I'm always looking out for your health, and my dinners prove that.
